There was complaint being made by the Zane Selkirk, a business executive, regarding the incidents that occurred on fights. The complaint about the incidents was chiefly concerning the flights which went from Los Angeles to London in the last month and also the flights of Bangalore in the last few weeks. Ms. Selkirk, aged 28 is a resident of California.

Selkirk did post some pictures of her bites online as she was not satisfied with the initial response that came from the British Airways. Selkirk in a statement said that while on the first flight she switched on the lights and it was shocking for her to see some bugs crawling on the blanket that was provided to her. She also did mention of a bed bug – blood – spattered shirt. Selkirk also sated about her return to London from Bangalore.

When she was at the end of the ten – hour flight she found her body covered with bug bites that were as many as ninety. Selkirk also complained about the customer service during the ten – day’s ordeal and said that it was completely non – existent. A spokesman of the British Airways in a statement affirmed that the aircraft pertaining to the Los Angeles flight was taken for the purpose of servicing, and only after that it was allowed to continue with its service.

The spokesman said that the problem regarding the bed bugs was something that one would face occasionally in airlines and hotels all around the globe. He also mentioned that they did focus on the problem and they monitor the aircraft on a continuous basis so that the passengers do not face any problem. The spokesman said that they follow the reports on a daily basis and if they come across any problem about bed bugs then they immediately launch an investigation in order to sort out the problem and if necessary they send the aircraft for service.
