Dollar 18 Billion Asked Of the News Corp for Sky

It has been mentioned in a statement by a top five investor, that the News Corporation should be entitled to pay a sum of $18 billion for the attainment of the rights of Sky.

This sum of money has been demanded in return of the satellite Broadcaster BSkyB. According to the reports of a newspaper, there are still negotiations being made and suggestions of what would be the right amount for the acquirement of the shares of the company.

The sellers, the directors of Sky independent were demanding a high value and the buyers, the News Corp are obviously asking them to settle with lower amounts.

These discussions have to end soon so that a proper decision regarding the same can be taken. There is a necessity to come on a common understanding so that there can be the benefit of one and all.

"The question will rapidly become", says Rich Greenfield, a New York analyst with BTIG Research, "what will Rupert do with the cash". There is a need to strike balance so that there can be the growth and development of one and all.
