A terminally ill Oregon citizen died after embattling with the cancer for six years. The Oregon's Death with Dignity Act has given adult Oregonians suffering from lethal diseases to administer death by themselves.
As per reports, the deceased, named as "Lucidending", posted a message on the social networking site reddit. com, thanking the ‘Oregon's Death with dignity act’ to end his long ordeal with cancer. Moreover, he claimed that he has been given medication by the doctors with the supervision of Oregon's Death with Dignity Act.
As the news hit the corners of the world, a sympathy wave across the website got brewer. Though the probability of the news to be a gimmick cannot be denied, over 9,000 people all over the world responded with sympathy to the revelation made by Lucidending.
Responding to the news, a Spokesman from Compassion & Choices of Oregon, an advocacy group, reportedly claims that they don’t have any updated information about the questioned person.
Moreover, Reddit Community Manager, Erik Martin, reportedly claimed that though the whereabouts of the person are yet to be confirmed, Lucidending's post has become one of the most popular posts in the history of reddit. com. Further, a need of addressing such sensitive issues has taken a leap with this recent case.
