Booze Warnings, Will They Work?
Booze Warnings, Will They Work?

There might be bottles of beer with warnings written on it in the near future. The Government of Alberta is seriously considering the idea of labeling alcohol bottles with warning signs to make people aware of the ill effects of the same.

It is a major issue of debate among the members of the law making community itself. Isn’t it very obvious that alcohol is harmful and that drinking and driving is dangerous?

The question is that how many people are actually even going to take a note of it? It might e one of ways in which the government is trying to spread awareness, but most people are of the view that it is not even worth a try. Everyone is aware of the ill effects of drinking and driving and do it by choice.

Others of the commission are of the view that it might affect a few people in a positive way and make them think twice before they pick up that bottle.

Some feel the idea is absolute nonsense and should not even be considered. This issue has turned out to be a debate and the commission is searching for the final answer amongst themselves.
