Metro Vancouver is planning the launch of a vigorous new campaign that would use the help of media and communication for the purpose of boosting their recycling rates in the vicinity.
In an announcement made on Wednesday, the strategy of the communications was made public. This came just before the first zero waste conference of the region that is going to be held today.
The aim of the conference and the communications is to help the Metro Vancouver in achieving its goal of increasing recycle rates to a huge 70% by the commencement of 2015.
According to David Hocking, the spokesperson of Metro, the main aim of the drive is to change the way people look at things. They are going to be offered convenient and easy options for the purpose of recycling. The change is going to be brought about in towers as well as the single family homes.
This is a drive that is for the betterment of the human race. It is a way in which there can be the proper utilization of resources as well as the control of wastage. This shall result in a better ecosystem and a cleaner and greener atmosphere.
