According to a recent study, it was found that women are affected to a large extent than men if there are intrusions of work in their home-life. Intrusions like emails, phone calls, texts have reported causing higher level of discomfort for the fairer sex.

It was also found that women are also very efficient in balancing their home and career but they feel more stress when they are contacted by their office counterparts outside the working hours.

"This guilt seems to be at the heart of their distress", said Paul Glavin, of the University of Toronto and the lead author of the study.

This study was carried out by the scientists on more than 1,042 American workers in the whole country. This finding was published in Journal of Heal and Social Behavior. This study showed that women feel guiltier than men when they are contacted by their bosses outside their working hours. Women feel guiltier than men when her family is interfered by her office work.

On the other hand, men are likely to be less affected when they get calls or emails related to their workplace.

Paul Glavin, a doctor in sociology department claims that women feels more psychological stress when she is contacted for work apart from her stipulated working hours.
