Abott Invented a Diagnostic Tool to Underline Feeding Problems in Kids

Are you among those who struggle to feed your child? A four-month study has been kicked off by a healthcare firm, Abbott Nutrition, to address this brewing concern among parents.

In order to devise appropriate solution for the parents, Abott has invented a diagnostic tool- Identification and Management of Feeding Difficulties (IMFeD) to identify and manage the feeding difficulties faced by parents.

The aforementioned study is unique in its own manner as it enrolls around 26 children, who are fussy about eating with their parents. The team will classify children’s problem as mentioned by the parents and doctors in the study questionnaire.

With the issue spiraling to other countries, Dr, Benny Kerzner, Chairman, department of gastroenterology and nutrition, claims that around 60-80% women are perplexed with their children’s habit.

Many experts have cited that advancement in technology is probably the biggest lure, which is pulling the attention of young children.

Citing the example of a boy, who ate only when TV is on, Dr. Mukesh Sanklecha of the Bombay Hospital claims that parents should closely monitor the eating pattern of their kids, and assure that they consume their regular meals with their family.
