Court Accepts Appeal from Cuccinelli
Court

After an entire year of debate and confusion, the Supreme Court of Virginia has finally given orders that it shall hear the appeal regarding the case of University alumnus and Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli’s rights of subpoena documents from within the University.

The appeal has been made by Cuccinelli to a ruling that was made by the Albemarle County Circuit last year. In this ruling, they had denied the appeal made by the attorney general for the access to a range of e-mails as well as the other work relating material of the previous professor of University environmental sciences. He is now a professor at the University of Pennsylvania.

There was a multiple filing made by Cuccinelli in the civil investigation court. He also made a demand to be able to review the documents of the Mann from last year.

Cuccinelli has made an accusation towards Professor Mann that he has been using deceitful ways for the purpose of attaining the grants of the tax-payer funded researches. The acceptance of the appeal has surely come as a positive sign for the man.
