It’s highly loaded with new features; that’s what Nintendo touts about its hot handheld Nintendo DSi, which was first announced at the Nintendo Conference on October 2, 2008 in Tokyo, Japan.
Nintendo DSi certainly is rich in features. It features superb MP3 music player, twin digital cameras, 3.25-inches screen, bettered speakers and a built-in web browser.
According to Nintendo, the are five features that makes Nintendo DSi special gaming console include its design, music, photos, and its download and storage capabilities.
Nintendo DSi is sleek and stylish. It has buttons moved around for better layout and ergonomics. Its marvelous audio player and recorder lets you change the pitch and speed. Its dual cameras feature several modes to let you do a lot of wonderful things. They can let you stretch photos, much like Mario's face in Super Mario 64, and they can let you capture black and white photos and then add colors to them. They can let you a lot of funny things, such as adding moustaches or spectacles, in photos. It has excellent capability of accessing the wonderful world of downloadable games through Wi-Fi. With an SD storage slot, it lets you store as photos, music, and download games.
Nintendo DSi’s built-in software helps you listen digital music, manipulate your photos, and transfer images to Wii for viewing on your television or exchange them with other DSi owners.
Nintendo DSi is currently only available in Japan. It will be released in the North America on April 5, 2009. It will be available for $169.99 in North America. Since it was released in Japan, the console has been available in only black color, but it will be released in two colors: black and blue in North America.
Nintendo DSi will be released in Australia on April 2nd, 2009, and elsewhere during the first half of 2009. It will be available for $299 in Australia, and it will be available in both black and white colors in Australia.
