Los Angeles  - Oscar organizers have started leaking information about the stars who will perform at Sunday night's Oscars.

E! Online reported that host Hugh Jackman will be joined on stage by Beyoncé, High School Musical stars and real-life couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens and Mamma Mia!'s Amanda Seyfried.

Twilight star Robert Pattinson is also on the presenters list as organizers attempt to attract younger viewers who have deserted the show in recent years.

The Oscars will take place on Sunday night in Los Angeles with The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Slumdog Millionaire leading the nominations. (dpa)
