Competition in Life Insurance Companies is still Fierce

The competition among life insurance companies is very violent, as the emerging companies are selling simple term life products direct and online.

Friends Provident, Axa Life and Bupa Health Insurance, have seen a rapid growth in their progress and greater investor confidence in the foreign countries.

The insurance prices have been decreased by the companies, and many policies are available for as little as the price of a restaurant meal. Even, the cost of the life insurance is now very easy on the pocket.

The Resolution Ltd. (RSL), the insurance buyout firm founded by Clive Cowdery, has raised their final dividend by 15%.

According to an Island-based firm, the Guernsey revealed that the RSL has raised their payments in the end of 2010 to 12.57 pence a share and plans to 18.85 pence a share in 2011.

Though Resolution said that the by the end of the UK project the board will keep a check on the aptness of the company’s growth.

The three achievements made by RSL are:

1. It plans to sell the combined units in next three years.
2. RSL is the best performer of the FTSE ASX Life Insurance (FALIFE) from last six months.
3. RSL believes and concentrates in increasing their business in spite of future purchases.

Mike Biggs, Chairman of Resolution, said, "The acquisitions we have made and the clear strategic plans we are implementing underpin the board's confidence that the project will deliver its targeted mid-teens returns”.
