Infected Pastries in Rhode Island Makes People Sick
Rhode Island

It was in the Rhode Island that the health laboratories of the state took a stand of checking the bakeries of the place to check whether the bakery of the area had some sort of Salmonella infections in it. This infection had made many people sick.

There were 25 people who were affected with this infection and fell ill when they ate zeppole pastries. It is the DeFusco’s Bakery that has been checked for the infected bacteria. According to the officials, the possible reason for the spread of the infection could be the zeppole pastries.

The pastry shells from the bakery had been stored in egg crates. It could be possible that the pastries took the infection from the eggs. These infected pastries have caused infections and there need to be strong measures taken for the purpose of getting to the root cause of the infection so that it can be eradicated and the bakery products can be made fit for consumption.

The healthcare department has also issued warnings to people who have fallen ill due to these products. They said they should get themselves checked by the health care department to avoid any further complications.
