New Strategy for the Strengthening Of 4Ps

For the development of the capabilities of the local governments, there has been an expert team of 40 trainers called. They have been invited from the Department of Social Welfare and Development central office and regional offices.

This is for the purpose of coming up with a training design that shall be for the aid of the enhancing the qualities of the parent groups as well as the local government of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program.

It is going to be a 5-day activity and shall make newer avenues for the framing of a basic orientation strategy that shall define well, the responsibilities involved in the collaboration of the stakeholders. This is in consideration of especially the parent beneficiaries and the local government.

According to Mae Gabriel, who is a training specialist with DSWD XII, the training is meant for the basic orientation and shall lay an emphasis on the Compliance Verification system, the Beneficiary Update system and the Grievance Redress System.

"Let us exert our best efforts and keep up the culture of excellence, gain more knowledge and skills and inculcate responsibility and accountability in what we are doing. Let us develop teamwork and become advocates of 4Ps”, said DSWD XII director Bai Zorahayda Taha.
