There shall be the finalizing of a new deal of the Queensland Government with the Ramsay Health Care. This shall be done for the development of a new private hospital in the Sunshine coast of Kawana.

There has been a confirmation from the Premier Anna Bligh that the government shall call for tenders of the new $2billion project of the Sunshine Coast University Hospital within a span of 15 days.

Ms. Bligh further added, "the green light for a new era in health care for the Sunshine Coast", in appreciation of the moves.

She also said that when it opens up in the late 2013, they shall start seeing the first patients get their treatment under the arrangements made by the Ramsay Health Care.

She also said that there shall be a search started for the building of a new public hospital in this month and this would mean a call of Expressions of Interest for the drive by the 13th of April.

There shall be an opportunity given to the Sunshine Coast Sports Community for the opportunities of the formalization of the credentials at the free recreation program launched by the Bligh Government.
