Mr. Schmidt joined Google for guiding the student founders in the year 2001. Delivering a speech at the announcement program in January, he quoted, “I believe Larry is ready. His ideas are very interesting and clever and it’s time for him to have a shot at running this.

“I am enormously proud of my last decade as CEO and I am certain that the next 10 years under Larry will be even better! Larry, in my clear opinion, is ready to lead.”

He said that these decisions have been taken after a lot of discussions and that it is always for the betterment of the organization. He also said that the investors are safe as this would never cause any dispute in the firm. The top officials of Google always agree to the decisions thus ruling out the chances of dispute.
