Jamie Lynn Spears, younger sister of pop star Britney Spears said farewell to her teenage years as she turned 20 on Monday. Spears, who was famous for playing the part of Zoey Brooks on the Nickelodeon show Zoey 101 was all over the tabloids when she was 17 years old for becoming a teenage mother.

Her daughter Maddie, who is nearly three years old, helped her mother ring in her 20s with some sweet treats over the weekend. Spears chronicled the events over her birthday weekend on Twitter. One day, she posted that Maddie’s preschool class serenaded her for her birthday, and later on she posted a picture of her eating a birthday cake with the caption “Cake from my baby girl! That’s a wrap!”

A few days earlier, she posted a picture of the 2 ½ year old little girl playing dress up with the caption, “What else do you do on your 20th birthday weekend?” To wrap it up, she posted another picture of herself hold tongs and a potholder saying that she was grilling for her daughter in celebration.

Last fall, Jamie Lynn ended her relationship with Casey Aldridge, the father of her daughter, calling off their engagement. Spears now lives in Louisiana with her daughter despite the couple’s original intention to buy a house together in Mississippi to raise their child there together.
