She has an extremely hectic schedule. The syndicated version of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" is also hosted by her. It is believed that she might not even renew her contract with the producers of this show as well.

Meredith Vieira is 57-years-old. Her friends and colleagues have confirmed that she has been under a lot of stress because of the hectic schedule. They also claim that she wants to spend more time with her family. It is estimated that she has been earning around $10 million from the "Today" show only.

Certain industry experts believe that Katie Couric will be returning to the NBC's top-rated morning show. She has recently announced her departure from the CBS Evening News.
