ABC Likely to Take a Strict Action After Karina Smirnoff Posed Nude for Playboy

Sources have reported that ABC was giving a serious thought on firing Karina Smirnoff from the show "Dancing with the Stars" after playboy founder Hugh Hefner made an official announcement on Wednesday saying that May issue of Playboy would be unforgettable as the Karina had posed nude for it.

After being aware about this announcement, a DWTS insider posted on twitter that Karina could say goodbye to her dancing career if she had posed naked for the magazine and he also hoped the news not to be true.

Though there has not been any comment available from the dancer’s side but the news seems to be true as Us Weekly talked about confirming it lately.

The officials from ABC believe that having one of their dancers naked on the magazine cover was enough to completely spoil the image of their ongoing show.

The firm further said, “ABC publicity department controls the image of this show with an iron fist. It's a cash cow and they are not going to allow its reputation to be soiled by a dancer who wants to do Playboy”.

The authorities seemed to take a strict action against the dancer as she had violated the terms of her contract by stripping off for the magazine without getting consent from the show's bosses.
