The revelers, who are making plans to visit seashore this weekend have been warned by the officials as the city is expected to suffer serious traffic chaos due to the large influx of tourists at present.
What has been called the ‘busiest weekend of the year so far, the AA has claimed a spur of 20% in the traffic on roads during the upcoming weekend.
The warm weather of April is being credited for the reason why so many people are expected to head towards the sea. Moreover, holidays are the times when people like to unwind themselves with their families, so automatically roads get busier.
A Forecaster from the Met Department, John Hammond, predicted that the weather will remain hot for the next weekend as well. The whole country will have temperature above 18C with capital going as up as 20C.
As the temperature will rise, more people will make plans to visit coastal areas as they are comparatively cooler.
It is reported that some 106,038 passengers will board a flight from Heathrow on Saturday with 110,973 more on Sunday.
In addition, the officials from train companies also have confirmed for the 10% rise in the tickets sales to the coastal regions.
