Justice Department Approves ITA Deal with Google

The Justice Department approved the Google’s $700 million deal with the ticketing software company. This announcement has rise concerns to travel websites such as Kayak and TripAdvisor. The software will be licensed for next 5 years in order to protect the intellectual property of ITA clients. This approval will help in escalating Google travel information online.

The main aim of Google, the world's No. 1 Internet search engine is to ensure people that the online service they provide will always be on top; as surfers go for the services which are popular all over the world such as Facebook.

According to a source, it has been revealed that US antitrust regulators will investigate into allegations whether Google manipulates their information or not. The investigation has been considered by both the Federal Trade Commission and Justice Department, but no decision has been taken that which organization will take it up.

A Justice Department Official said that they were aware of the fact that search engine twisted the results to get more incentives. Even many complaints has been made by agencies most of them rivals of Google in searches as price comparison website that they make it difficult to find the easily available information.
