A case of sexual molestation of a mentally challenged boy by a behavioral specialist captured the attention of many people. As per the reports, the accused, Jeremy Shawn Stockton, 29, has been a regular employee of Wellspring, which specializes in working with children who have autism.

Acknowledging the complaint launched by the family of the victim boy claiming that the unfortunate incident happened between March 1, 2008, and March 26 of this year, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) nabbed the accused last Wednesday on the charges of sexual misconduct.

Following the judicial custody, the accused was sent to jail for an amount of $1.45 million. Moreover, the investigation team is probing the history of the accused to gather more evidence in favor of the alleged charges.

In addition, the LAPD found out that Stockton had been associated with developmentally disabled children at the YMCA facility in La Canada Flintridge and the Valley Therapeutic Recreational Center at North Hollywood Park at 11430 Chandler Blvd.

Moreover, the police released the photo of Stockton in order to attract the attention of people, who have been his victim in the past. Further, the LAPD called for people to contact LAPD Devonshire Division Detective Teresa Pikor at 818-832-0985, in case they have any clue about the case.
