Sales Increase in McDonalds by 11%

The parsimonious families have boosted the world’s largest fast food chain, McDonalds, as they always search for inexpensive meals. McDonalds have posted its 20the successive quarter of growth in the UK in the quarter ended at March, with the rise of 11% in the net income.

The Fast food giant has served 25 million more customers in comparison to the previous year. McDonalds revealed that they served 12 million dinners in the golden arches for inexpensive burgers in the last week of March.

The group said that the sales at UK have posted the growth overall, and the sale of coffee has been increased by 250,000 cups a day.

Jill McDonald, Chief Executive of McDonald's UK, said: "Recent sales figures from the high street tell us what we already know - that 2011 is going to be another tough year for everyone”.

She said that they will continue to deliver an affordable food with high-quality.

The group has posted the benefit of 10% increases on the large-scale. The sales of the company have increased by 5.7% in Europe.

Meanwhile, McDonalds said that they will raise the prices of their meal by 4% to 4.5% in the US and Europe in 2011.
