Stocks Gain on Fourth Day

The reports claimed that the European stocks jumped on the fourth day as they got an earning, which is better than the expectations of the market analysts. The earnings were better from UBS U. S. index figures were reported to have got a gain, whereas the Asian shares slid downwards.

UBS shares got a hike because it attracted money from the wealthy customers since the end of 2007. The surge has been the highest in its last nine months. Parmalat SpA also surged 12% after Groupe Lactalis claimed that it will bid for the rest of Italy’s biggest dairy company.

"The Lactalis Group combined with Parmalat will have an annual turnover of around 14 billion euros, which would make it the biggest group in the world for dairy products", Lactalis said in its statement.

The benchmark of STOXX Europe 600 index rose by 0.3% to reach 281.16 at 10:22 am in London. On the other hand, Standard & Poor’s 500 Index futures got a gain of 0.5 percent today, which indicated that the benchmark gauge for U. S. equities will gain for the fourth time in five days. The stock market is likely to attain gain in near future if this trend continues.
