It has been revealed in a report that the Lloyd Banking group is thinking of selling off the Scottish Widows. They are doing this in order to increase the focus and area of attention towards its main business.
There is a review of the Business that is underway. It has been revealed that the Chief Executive of the bank, Antonio Horta-Osorio, shall bring out its new plan of action for the new amendments in the firm.
The selling off is thought to be a part of the review. The new strategies are expected to be set by the end of June. This shall give the bank a new direction and could mean a lot of positive reforms in the same area.
The price of Scottish Widows is expected to be somewhere between £5bn and £7bn. The returns for the same shall further be used to benefit the firm.
The firm has to see a lot of changes and reforms, before it can come to a stable and secure position. There needs to be strict measures followed in order to make the firm at the top of the game.
