Police Takes Measures to Avoid Trouble on Big Day
Kate Middleton, Prince William

Metropolitan police have claimed that anyone planning to disrupt the royal wedding will be dealt strongly.

Around 5,000 officers will be placed on duty to ensure the safety of this event. The police department wants the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton to remain safe, secure and happy.

Cdr. Christine Jones claimed that there is no specific known threat for this special occasion. But the police authorities have banned 60 known troublemakers from the city on that day.

Cdr. Jones said, “intelligence suggested there was currently no specific threat to the "meticulously planned" event. We would be wrong not to consider spontaneous protest as part of our contingency planning. But let us make it absolutely clear - this is a day of celebration, joy and pageantry. It is a fantastic day for Britain”.

She also said that anyone who would try to disrupt it would be dealt firmly. The police have taken adequate measures to stop any sort of problems.

The 5000 officers who will be on duty will be there to stop any such incident which can ruin this day; it extends from international Islamist militants to anarchists and stalkers.
