Approximately 57% of the natives, a significant hike as compared to 46% for last month, have praised the President for his excellent job performance although a majority of people believe that death of Bin Laden is not sufficient enough to assure the protection against the terrorism.
The New York Times/CBS News poll has claimed that the encounter of Qaeda leader, Bin Laden, has secured all admiration for the President and his wise strategies to handle war in Afghanistan, the threat of terrorism along with the foreign policies.
Around 6 out of 10 Americans believe that United States needs to put some additional efforts in order to complete its mission in Afghanistan and therefore all the military should not be asked to leave Afghanistan.
A lawyer from Madison, Mr. Olbrich, said: “I have no idea how long it will take to complete that mission. And we can’t leave until Afghanistan is back on its feet a little bit”.
Meanwhile, the administrative authorities have revealed that the military will be scheduled to leave Afghanistan during the summers, gradually, depending upon the knitted security strategy and will be eliminated absolutely in
2014.
Besides the appreciation, the poll has criticized Mr. Obama for his economic policies.
