On Friday, the Health and Human Services Department had announced that Nevada had greeted a statewide waiver from certain implementation requirements of the Obama administration’s health care law.
Whereas, the Republicans considered the waiver as evidence that the health care law projected by the Obama would not work while the Nevada Sen had marked the law full of flaws. The law is directed to cut a half trillion dollars from Medicare, he added further.
On the other hand, the Democrats claimed that the new law will require the non-performing insurance companies to improve their performance while the enrolled customers will be able to avail a better coverage return against their opted policies.
“Even with this waiver, insurance companies will still have to invest more in providing health care for the families they cover in the Silver State”, added the Communications Director for Nevada Rep, David Cherry.
Meanwhile, a report from the Congressional Budget Office had revealed the median income, $94,900, for a family constituting of 4 members. The figure is significantly high as compared to the commonly accepted estimates, around $70,000. The department had included all forms of compensations such as the value of employer-provided health care plans.
