It could be in late March, Apple may plan a special event to dish out some hardware updates for the iMac. According to reports, Apple may organize a special event on 24 March to offer latest updates for its iMac line.
Two sites – World of Apple and My Apple Guide have reported that Apple may most likely host the rumored special event on 24 March, which will bring out some long-awaited hardware updates to the iMac, and possibly even the Mac mini and the Mac Pro.
The World of Apple has stated that Apple could bring out updates to the Mac mini and Mac Pro at the special event, which will be similar to Apple’s notebook event held last October.
My Apple Guide has written, "Apple is said to be announcing a new Mac mini, iMacs with the new NVIDIA chipset, Mac Pros with Xeon processors along with a pleasant 'surprise'."
However, these two sites do not have a strong reputation for breaking such news. On the other hand, there is not yet any official comment from Apple about the rumored event.
