Pink Ribbon Golf Classic to Be Observed on July 26

The 13th annual American Cancer Society Pink Ribbon Golf Classic will be observed on July 26 at the Fox Ridge Golf Club. The awaited event will be sponsored by the VGM and will try to grab the attention of huge public, as an attempt to raise as much funds as possible, at least $58,000, to support the breast cancer research work.

The organizers are encouraging teams to participate and get enrolled now for the four-person best shot tournament with shotgun, believed to be start around 7am and put on close at 1:15 pm. As per the schedule, morning and afternoon golfers will be enjoying activities as well as treats, throughout the course. Besides, the golfers will also avail lunch with a brief program beginning at 12:30 p. m.

The Pink Ribbon Program was created by Doreen Puglisi, a New Jersey Pilates instructor and physiologist. Earlier, Puglisi was diagnosed with breast cancer and tweak the program based on her own experiences to make it more effective. She also felt as strong emotional attachment with event as the lethal cancer had executed her mother.
