CDC Rates Men’s Health in Arizona as ‘Poor’

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has revealed its recent report in which it has rated Arizona men as ‘poor’ for their overall health. The report has revealed that majority of men from this province suffer from a number of health complications.

According to the CDC, about 73% of men in Arizona are overweight or obese as compared to men in other provinces of the US. The report has also found that men in Arizona have high cholesterol as compared to the other Americans.

CDC has claimed that nearly half of Arizona men do not perform regular exercise or physical activity. About three out of four men don’t eat sufficient fruits and vegetables in their daily diet.

The report has also ranked them as ‘worst’ than the national average of stroke, obesity, high blood pressure and heavy drinking. Arizona men are more likely to be involved in the habit of drinking and eating unhealthy food as compared to others.

Meanwhile, many previous researchers have claimed that heart attack and cancer are twice more frequent in men than women. Deaths due to diabetes and lung diseases are also more prevalent in men than women.
