Microsoft won’t plug Excel hole tomorrow!

The people vexed by the Excel security hole are hereby notified that Microsoft will not release security patch for Excel security flaw, tomorrow.

On Friday last week, Microsoft stated that it will only release three Windows security patches, one "CRITICAL" and two "IMPORTANT" on Tuesday, March 10.

The software manufacturer stated that the "critical" security patch will be released to plug the security holes in Windows 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista and Server 2008. The unpatched critical security holes let attackers take control and steal data from the computers running on the Windows operating systems with the security flaws. The company said that two "important" patches will be released to fix spoofing bugs.

Microsoft notified that it will not brought out a fix for an Excel flaw, which is presently being exploited by attackers and hackers. The company issued warning about Excel security hole in the week before the last. Microsoft warned that the attackers can exploit Excel security hole to launch malicious code remotely though infected Excel spreadsheet files.
