‘Hard-to-get tickets’ pioneer RazorGator raises $7.5 million funds

In a recently closed funding round, $7.5 million have been raised by RazorGator, the industry pioneer for 'hard-to-get tickets' for sold-out sports and entertainment events the world over. The round was led by the company's current investors - Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Oak Investment Partners, and Steamboat Ventures.

The privately-held Los Angeles, California-based RazorGator Interactive Group - which operates RazorGator, TicketOS, and PrimeSport - has offices in Dallas, Atlanta, Phoenix, and India.

RazorGator is the official partner of an exhaustive list of professional sports organizations - including the San Francisco 49ers, Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Pirates, Carolina Panthers, Baltimore Ravens, Seattle Seahawks, Minnesota Vikings, and a host of others - and it offers a wide global reach, courtesy its distribution partners - like Yahoo!, CBS Sports, Fox Sports, and MSN.

While the list of chief 'hard-to-get tickets' sports events include the Super Bowl, U.S. Open, The Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Wimbledon, and French Open and many others; the entertainment arena of such events includes the Broadway's hottest shows, and top-billed London theatre.

RazorGator intends using the newly-raised funds for hard line growth, in order to cater to the mounting demand for hard-to-get tickets. Even though the expansion of RazorGator's official partnerships will be the key growth area, the company also plans to improve professional sports teams, leagues and artists for promoting tickets to high-demand events!
