Cubic Corp. wins order worth $10.6 million

Cubic Corporation, a leader in Defense and Transportation sector, has informed that it has received a $10.6 million contract for the Javelin Field Tactical Trainer to produce Basic Skills Trainers and student and instructor stations.

The latest deal is awarded under contract to the Raytheon-Lockheed Martin Javelin Joint Venture.

The Javelin is the world's first man-portable fire-and-forget medium-range missile system.

U.S. Army and Marine Corps gunners utilize both the Basic Skills Trainer and the Field Tactical Trainer to learn how to operate the missile system effectively.

In a separate release, Cubic Defense Applications, the defense systems subsidiary of Cubic Corporation, has secured a contract for Phase 1 of the Common Range Integrated Instrumentation System (CRIIS) program. The contract is valued at over $10 million

The order has been won from Rockwell Collins of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, which will lead the CRIIS team.
