According to reports, after the mysterious death cases related to four Thai tourists and a local tour guide who were reported in the northern city of Chiang Mai, the Country authorities accounted that unidentified toxic substances or pesticides might have killed them.
Earlier this year, giving an explanation about the death reports of six people and illnesses of three others, Thailand's Department of Disease Control claimed that due to these deadly pesticides, out of the dead people, three women from New Zealand, US and Thailand lost their lives.
Moreover, they continued to assert that they could not prohibit the possibility which showed that an elderly British couple, who was found dead at the same hotel, had also been poisoned
However, investigators have failed to institute a direct link with the pesticides.
In the meantime, the report further asserted that the exact agents, which were involved, were yet to be identified but for the meantime rodenticides, used in pest control, have been listed as the as possible reasons.
On the other hand, following a five month examination organized by numerous country ministries in collaboration with the World Health Organization established the fact: "As difficult as it may be to accept, ultimately, the precise causes for the deaths and illnesses cannot be definitively identified or confirmed”.
