Chinese Patient Succumbed to Death in Hospital Fire Mishap

After god, doctors are considered as only life savers but what happened in China’s hospital could shake the base of this saying. Yes, fire in hospital made doctors flee from the spot and a surgery patient die on the operating table.

The report has been confirmed by a hospital official, who on Friday said that fire break in a room close to the operation theatre made the doctors ran away from the spot. The china man died on the operating table.

The incident happened Wednesday night at Shanghai No. 3 People's Hospital when a 50-year-old China man was undergoing a surgery to amputate his leg, but suddenly fire broke and doctors ran away from the spot. The accident made the patient stranded on the operation table for almost 30 minutes after which he succumbed to death, confirmed hospital spokeswoman Hu Yuan.

Despite one nurse’s effort to douse the blaze, which was caused by a disinfecting machine that caught fire, the power in the hospital went out that made every person leave the hospital premises.

Higher blaze made the firefighters prevent the doctors from returning to the operating room, and by the time they reached, the man in the operating room was dead.
