Robot Will Soon Treat Stroke Patients!

It has been revealed in recent reports that a team of Scientists from Netherlands have developed robotic legs. This is done in order to improve the movement in patients, who have suffered a stroke and find it difficult to move,

The device is called LOPES or Lower- extremity Powered Exo-Skeleton. They work by the process of leading the body to a more natural process of healing from the stroke and training the mind as well as body for the same.

The device is going to be tested for the cure of movement problems among patients facing difficulties in their legs or those who suffered spinal injuries.

It is still being tested, and the final commercial version of the device shall be out only next year. If the tests are cleared by the device, it shall soon be used in rehabilitation centers and hospitals very soon.

The crux behind making the device is that it shall target affected areas of the patient in order to aid them heal better. It shall also detect if the patient is doing wrong so that the doctor can help to correct him or her, aiding a swift recovery.
