GE Healthcare seems to be enjoying its stay in Indian market, as it has been confirmed that the company is mulling to earth few more products and technologies in Indian market, especially in rural segment to cater to the needs of millions of patients.
Considering the fact that the rural areas are more or less grappling with basic sources like electricity and other facilities, the products are being made keeping all the feasible barriers in the project under consideration.
So far, the company has delivered products like a light-weight ECG machine, a low-cost portable ventilator, hand-held ultrasound machine, and a LED-run phototherapy device.
While the basic functionalities are retained, the only parameter that is being considered worth changing are the additional features.
Nonetheless, the existing products are being appreciated for their set of efficiencies; the upcoming products are being given the due importance so that commendable results could be retrieved.
"We have sold about 70 units of this device since its launch a month back and are going to export it to countries in Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe, Latin America", said an official from GE, while iterating that tailored technologies have given huge benefit to humans and would remain giving the best in the coming time also.
