Japan to Go Ahead With Whaling

It has been reported that this season, the Japanese Government will be increasing its budgets for whaling. In this season, the Sea Shepherd is all geared up to put an end to whaling. Last season, the Sea Shepherd made it difficult for the Japanese to hunt for whales.

Sea Shepherd not only works towards saving the lives of whales but also works towards the betterment of those who have been severely hit by natural disasters like tsunami. It has been informed that the Sea Shepherd have urged Japan to impose cuts to raise funds for tsunami victims.

The government of Tokyo is holding a meeting to discuss the need of banning whaling in the Antarctic. Reluctant to the notion of banning haunting, the Japanese government is encouraging whaling by increasing the budget so that the haunters could be protected.

It has been revealed that the Japanese government will be investing $US27-million dollars to ensure the safety of the crew members at the Antarctic. The government is of the opinion that the money raised via whaling will be utilized in supporting the lives affected by devastating earthquake and tsunami and melt down at nuclear power plant. However, there are few Japanese leaders who are opposing whaling.
