Women Hit with Grenade at Face, Survives

According to the reports of Gizmodo, a 32-year-old, mother of three, Karla Flores suffered an injury after a grenade struck her face and made her unconscious. The incident took place when Karla was selling seafood in the market, just like any other day.

Before the grenade hit Karla, she heard an explosion and the next very second she got wounded. The lady was hurried to Culiacán General Hospital where she gained consciousness. She revealed that a stone smacked her face but in reality, the object was even harder and deadly than stone.

The doctors, on examining Karla, found that a hard object was stuck in her jawbones. The fact that the object was a grenade was notified from the x-ray and tomography reports of the patient. The doctors were shocked to see a case like this. The medical professionals doubted that the grenade could kill anyone at a radius of 32 feet. Therefore, they alarmed the hospital and vacated the hospital.

Meanwhile, Karla fought the condition alone; many doctors in the hospital were not willing to conduct the life-risking surgery. But finally, four medical professionals agreed to conduct the surgery in presence of 2 explosive specialists and finally, they saved Karla.
