Woolworths Recalls Milk Packs in Australia

Woolworths has warned people of Australia to confirm the safety of the homebrand milk they were consuming, as a stock of milk packs was in process of being recollected due to contagion with cleaning solution.

The Company revealed the 3 liter homebrand milk packs dated October 12 were doubted of being contaminated. The milk packs of the companies like Parmalat‘s Pure Milk and Daisy Fresh were found to be contaminated with the chemical.

According to Woolworths, the contaminated milk will be somewhat yellow in color and will taste like some metallic substance. It is only Woolworths in New South Wales that sold the milk packs of these brands.

As per Woolworths, “Any customer who has this product can return it to Woolworth’s supermarkets for a full refund. We apologies for any inconvenience”. The Company has warned people not to consume the milk of this stock and that they should revisit the shop to hand over the milk packs. The Company stated that the safety and health of its customers is the most important issue to them.

Similar to the case of Woolworths, Krafts Food in the US had also recollected cheese, for it was found to be contaminated with bristle pieces of wires.
