Rouffignac Cave Mystery Unveiled

Remarkable pictogram embed on the walls of the Rouffignac Cave located in France has made archeologists say that they have been embed and designed by the children under the age group of five.

The cave has been standing for the past 13,000 years with the pictograms unchanged. According to the archeologists, the cave would have been a nursery where kids would have been taught basic lesions of life.

It has been informed that the drawings on the walls of the cave seem to be made up of paints without using painting brushes. But in actual, clay has been used to make the paintings on the walls of the cave. The figured embed on the wall are unclear and ambiguous.

The archeologists are of the opinion that the drawing would have been made by the children in their playful activity. The width of the drawing is said to be 34 mm, which is equivalent to the width of the fingers of children.

The cave in which the drawings have been found is long as it takes a person minimum 45 minutes to travel through the whole cave. The archeologists are of the opinion that further evidence will be found, which will help them in understanding the Paleolithic societies.
