Samsung to Upgrade Galaxy Series to Avert Ban
Samsung to Upgrade Galaxy Series to Avert Ban

In order to avoid sales ban in Europe, Samsung Electronics Co. would soon announce release of its three updated Galaxy smartphones to get an edge over its competitor Apple, and also to avoid its patent ban.

For long, Samsung and Apple have been eying the second position after Nokia topped the list, and for that, they are opting for each and every measure to defeat each other and attain that position. Recently, Apple and Samsung were found to be on every newspaper as they are not putting an end to their long patent fight, in which they have more than 20 cases filed against each other in 10 different nations.

One of the claim for which Samsung has made the above announcement was that in Netherlands, Samsung has been facing charges levied by Apple, and Dutch Court has asked to ban the sale of its three smart phones, Galaxy S, S II and Ace. Therefore, they are trying to update the model by which it would escape the suspension charges. Initially, Apple levied 10 charges on Samsung in order to block its Galaxy line, but Dutch Court in its ruling found that Samsung could be blamed for only one charge and rest charges were suspended by the court.

Samsung has only few days left as the court has given time to prove charges wrong by October 14 and after that in Europe all the three products would face ban.
