RSA Revealed Security Breach that Occurred Earlier this Year

The security vendor RSA has revealed that the security breach, that they had to deal with earlier this year, was due to two groups, working for the same nation state. The breach had made it possible for the hackers to attack the defense contractor of the firm.

It was at a press conference at the Europe show that the firm revealed about the turn of events that had taken place back then. They further added that this was the reason for the new authenticity tokens to be issued by them, to all its customers, which cost the firm a huge deal.

It was revealed by Executive Chairman for the firm, Mr. Art Coviello, that one of the two member groups was more visible in this breach, while the other was supporting it but was sort of hidden in the ordeal.

"We've not attributed it to a particular nation state although we're very confident that with the skill, sophistication and resources involved it could only have been a nation state", he revealed further.

It might be proved that these attacks are yet unsuccessful and that the security systems of these firms were strong enough to withhold vital information, but this sort of attacks have been continuing with many similar firms and there is need to put a stop to the same.

There is a need to keep the information of customers safe, as this is the ultimate responsibility of the firm.
