For some it could be a Hollywood flick story, but what a 26-year-old woman is going through is no less than a worst dream. It has been reported that the Vietnamese woman after getting affected by an allergy from seafood in 2008 looks like an aged woman.

With wrinkles all over her face, Nguyen Thi Phuong has become a subject of mockery as she looks too old in front of her age.

“The skin on my face, chest and belly have folds like an old woman who has given birth several times although I have never had a child”, said the afflicted woman, who has sagging skin now.

Ironically, even doctors are not sure about the actual reason behind the allergic reaction. There are opinions divided, as some are of the view that it could have been due to a rare syndrome called lipodystrophy, and another group is of the view that it could due to the previous treatment given.

While the woman is battling a tough situation, the only breather she has is in the form of the support she has got from her husband who remained with her while she was being given conflicting advice.

While this case has become a medical anomaly for researchers across the world, for the husband of the afflicted woman, their relation stands firm as ever amidst tough weathers.
