According to reports, the Imperial Household Agency, in its faxed statement, declared that the Japanese Emperor Akihito, who acquires the top position at the world's oldest traditional dynasty, was hospitalized at the Tokyo hospital after he suffered from bronchitis.
Giving some more details about the health, Osamu Fujimura, Chief Cabinet Secretary asserted that yesterday, the Emperor was suffering from high fever and after having some breathing problems, he was immediately flown to the hospital's emergency ward at University of Tokyo Hospital.
Meanwhile, Crown Prince Naruhito would be acting as the authority in power during the meantime and would be presuming the emperor's legal and official duties.
The reported information also highlighted the fact that the emperor, who would be celebrating his 78th birthday next month, was forced to reduce his public appearances numerous times in the past few years, just because of his poor health conditions,
Meanwhile, the imperial agency officials affirmed that by last week a crop ritual, scheduled for Nov. 23 would be abridged to relieve the physical pull on Akihito.
In a special public address done five days after the record scale earthquake at the country's northeastern coast on March 11, Akihito articulated his commiseration and recommended the Japanese populace to help in the rescue operations, and help these victims to attain a reinstatement by gathering their possible strengths.
On the other hand, this was not the first time that the Emperor was spotted with serious health problems, as way back in 2008, he was spotted with a stomach swelling caused by stress and later, he also suffered irregular heartbeat troubles.
In the meantime, the royal agency officials further affirmed that in the year 2003, the Emperor Akihito experienced a prostate cancer surgery and since then, he kept on undergoing form numerous stress-related health issues.
