Mustaches Point Up Men’s Health
Mustaches Point Up Men’s Health

November is being celebrated as "Movember" with the intent of spreading awareness among men regarding the symptoms, consequences and treatment of the potentially terminal prostate cancer. In addition, fundraising to support care, treatment and research in the said field is also one of the major objectives behind "Movember".

The campaign is growing steadily and as part of it, men are sprouting moustaches with a common vision: raising awareness and money for handling issues related to men's health, with special reference to prostate cancer and various other forms of cancers bothering men.

As part of the celebration, guys from Tampa's Baystage lighting are feeling extreme sense of pride in showing off their style mustache.

Mike Sherwin and other participants of Movember are having a great time out there. They exclaimed that the event is full of fun and excitement. All of them are trying three best to be different, do different and of course, look different by getting a special-styled mustache.

On the other hand, Movember and all the noble cause related to it are no men's monopoly, as even ladies are getting enthusiastically involved in the course of action.

"Our owner at Baystage was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2009, so it's a cause that hits close to home to us", said Amber Wolcott. "I love the style of Movember, it's definitely a man's cause", she added.

Though the event seems fun and everything, the mission and motto tagged to it is highly imperative, serious and unnerving. As per reports, prostate cancer is the second largest reason of death due to cancer in men, and therefore timely detection is exceptionally vital. Ever since 2003, Movember has helped in raising $174 million all over the world for the noble cause of cancer prevention and research.
