While technological developments are making one gasp in surprise, here comes another offering in the name of Amazon Kindle Fire. The 7-inch tablet is slated to offer range of videos, music and other games to the users. If experts are to be heard, there are chances that it could even compete with Apple.
Being easy to grasp, the screen is wide enough to make content readable and even videos are clear enough to view. For those who are members of Amazon's website, it's almost easy as one has to just place the order and one would get it in couple of days. There are three labeled categories, including Newsstand, Books, Music, Video, Docs, Apps and Web. With ample features attached, there are not many hassles involved in surfing the entire tablet.
It has been observed that the screen has of two well-known Apple design elements. Presence of a "cover flow" at the top, make the user aware about the recent visits to app, movie or Web page. If tech savvies are to be heard, the tablet has all what's required to enjoy the best possible function as comparable to those being delivered by Apple. Even it is being rated above the Kindle e-reader.
Talking about the life of battery, it has been told to be "up to 8 hours of continuous reading, or 7.5 hours of video playback, with wireless off", which is told to be less than that of an iPad.
There are some minor issues like at times one has to click a few times to even see the home button in some application, but one could easily see the home button to get back to the main function. As there are no cameras and no microphone, there is no fair comparison between the iPad 2 and the Kindle Fire.
