Gmail for iOS Reappears after Show-Stopper Bug

It has been recently revealed that iOS is back with its Gmail application. It was something that had gone off the record for a while in the past, but its back with a bag in the Apple App store, and what's even better, is that it comes with new features in it.

It was about two weeks ago that the much awaited application was brought on the roll by the company. It was merely a matter of an hour, before it had to be taken back due to a handful of technical glitches. There was a notification bug detected and Google had entirely blocked access to the same for a while.

News has it that the application is now back, with its new features and this time it's going to create the much awaited buzz.

It was revealed by Google a few days back that the bug has been dealt with and the notification system is now going to work well. They weren't very clear about something called apology. After all it was a major error and had caused problem to many people. However, they added that they had put in new features that might interest people and make the application better than what it had come out as before.

It was revealed that there are going to be sounds, push notifications, inbox searches as well as auto complete features introduced in this newer, improvised version of the application that has been rectified of its errors.

"We're just getting started with the Gmail app for iOS and will be iterating rapidly to bring you more features, including all the ones listed above plus many more". "We have pulled the app to fix the problem. Sorry we messed up", revealed the tweet and blog post put in by Matthew Izatt, product manager from Google.
