It is expected that Samsung Galaxy Nexus would be launched in Australia on 24th of November. The smartphone will be sold at the price of $799 by MobiCity, Australia’s largest phone retailers. Besides, the smartphones would also be available at the stores of Kogan.
It is hoped that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus would throw huge challenge to iPhone 4S. The Australians are eagerly waiting for the phone to be launched. However, it has come to light that the new Nexus might not be available for contract basis.
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream sandwich. It has highly fluidic in terms of browsing of web portals, and other online apps will be certainly running faster.
It seems like the Samsung Galaxy Nexus has an extra edge over its software as they are highly updated. However, its graphic are not as sleek as iPhone 4S. Therefore, to attract more customers, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus would be required to improve its graphics processing unit (GPU).
It would be interesting to see as to how Galaxy Nexus throws competition to iPhone 4S. Nexus has a HD resolution of 1280x720 pixels. However, the iPhone 4 has 960x640 pixels. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus has already hinted that it would be launched in Australia on 24th of November. The US customers would be required to wait a little longer as no announcement about its launch has yet been made.
