It has been recently revealed that Charla Nash, the woman who had undergone a terrible attack by a chimpanzee back in the year 2009, has now been treated for her wounds and has got a face reconstruction surgery. She had been in the hospital for 15 months, and is now finally trying to move on, from the shocks of her accident.

She was attacked by a friend's pet chimpanzee. She was devastated by this attack and was left in a mix of pain, fear and hopelessness. It was after this surgery that she has been able to regain her lost confidence and has been able to live again. She was left with horrible scars on her face, as well as on her mind, after the accident.

After the surgery, she revealed that she has been able to step out and people have even called her beautiful. She had opted out of going to her daughter's graduation, because she thought she looked bad and might frighten away kids.

She has fought hr way back to health and a full life, after the horrible attack that not only took away her beauty but also her confidence. The chimpanzee was shot after the attack. The attack had been massive and the chimpanzee had ripped off the face and hand of the victim.

She was even blinded in the act. It was painful, and traumatizing for the entire family. It was due to the help of family, friends, and the entire medical team at the hospital that she was able to recover from her condition. She is even eating solid food, for the first time since the accident now.
